Over the last 12 months, Andy Robertson has had a meteoric rise. The Scottish defender came into 2018 as a rotational left-back at Anfield, sharing the role with Alberto Moreno, however, he’s gone on to make Moreno a forgotten name at the club as his performances have made him outstanding number one choice at the back.
Jürgen Klopp has sounded an @andrewrobertso5 warning… https://t.co/ujDbSOFhCi

Despite all of that and how far that Andy Robertson has already come, Jurgen Klopp has now claimed that the Scot has only hit 75% so far and that the best is still yet to come from the ex-Hull City man. For those fans that don’t believe Robbo can reach a level higher than the one he’s already reaching, you can read Klopp’s comments on the Liverpool website, and if he’s right then Robertson could be the best left-back in the world.
If the new Scotland captain can prove his gaffer to be right then it will make his measly £8 million fee that it took to prise him from Hull City after their relegation look one of The Reds’ best buys of the Premier League era. The fact that the defender is still only 24-years-old also bodes well for the Kopites. There’s no way the defender is at his peak yet, and the fact that he gets to work with Klopp day in day out will only help him to progress further as a player, meaning that his 100% could be around the corner.

The Reds can’t wait to see the best of Robertson and will hope the Scottish defender can continue shining and prove his gaffer to be absolutely right.
