Tonight we will find out who the full card of Champions League semi-finalists will be. Liverpool travel to Porto with a 2-0 lead whilst Tottenham travel to Manchester City with a 1-0 lead. The Reds will be a whole lot more confident than the Lilywhites, and with Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk potentially back together again, they’ll surely progress.

The Portuguese side are more than good enough to overcome Liverpool over a 90-minute clash at the Estadio do Dragao and will be more than confident of winning, but whether they can overcome the Reds by enough of a margin to progress is a different question. Roberto Firmino and Naby Keita did the necessary at Anfield, and now that Jurgen Klopp has his favourite defensive pairing available they should be able to advance past Porto.
At the start of the season, as Dejan Lovren was injured, the Kopites were reliant on Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk and they quickly became the first choice pairing. However, they were separated when Gomez had his leg broken against Burnley at Turf Moor, and this clash against Porto could be his return to the senior side, and a return to dominating alongside his big Dutch teammate.
