After Loris Karius’ awful blunders in the Champions League final back in summer 2018, the German found himself loaned out to Besiktas, although with Alisson’s recent injury, Empire of the Kop claims there has been some noise to re-call the shot-stopper.
It had surely crossed the minds of everyone involved #LFC https://t.co/rLOt0tKuKY

However, as Alisson suffered his injury against Norwich City on Friday night, Empire of the Kop have claimed that ‘It had surely crossed the minds of everyone involved’ to bring Karius back to replace the injured Brazilian on a short-term basis.
The idea has not gone down well with the Reds, and even if it had, The Liverpool Echo have run a story on how it would not be possible anyway, seeing as Karius would not be able to get registered with the Premier League outside of the transfer window and there isn’t even a re-call clause in his loan deal.

Coz he’s forgotten but remembered for THAT MISTAKE

— Darren Seaton (@seatzie) August 13, 2019
Because he’s not good enough that’s why, what a stupid question.

The Kopites don’t seem at all pleased with the call to bring Karius back and will likely be delighted that it’s not a feasible option.
