Liverpool fans have reacted to the news that captain Jordan Henderson is back in contention to be selected for Sunday’s Premier League clash against Fulham at Anfield.
The 28-year-old Henderson missed his team’s previous four matches due to a hamstring problem he sustained against Huddersfield Town last month and although some of the Reds fans have not been too pleased with his consistency this season, others feel it could be just what the team night right now after slumping to a surprising 2-0 defeat to Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Jurgen Klopp announced (via Sky Sports) on Friday that apart from Henderson, new-signing Naby Keita is also in line to make an appearance on Sunday after recovering from a similar injury.
Whether the manager starts with Henderson or Keita remains to be seen but one can expect both of them to feature at some stage in the match.
