Tonight sees Liverpool travel to Molineux for the second time in just 17 days as they face Wolves in the FA Cup, just over two weeks after eating Nuno Espirito Santo’s side in the Premier League. However, tonight, the Reds will be far less concerned if they lose as they’d rather save themselves for the Premier League and Champions League.

Jurgen Klopp is expected to make wholesale changes to the side that were narrowly beaten 2-1 by Manchester City yesterday, with the likes of Simon Mignolet and Alberto Moreno expected to start along with some of the club’s young development squad players. However, the worst thing for the Reds would be a replay as the fixture congestion is already building up without FA Cup ties.
Klopp’s side sit at the top of the Premier League table after 21 games and are four points clear of Manchester City. If they can make an early cup exit and then get back to winning ways in the Premier League next weekend against Brighton then it will be a huge bonus for the Kopites, who are desperate to see their side win the Premier League for the first time, even if it means sacrificing the FA Cup in the process.
You can read the Reds’ thoughts on tonight’s FA Cup clash here:
I feel like we are going to lose. Putting Simon in goal is always scary especially with Moreno in LB. we have a young RB and probably playing 3-5 key players against Wolves strongest side

The Liverpool fans really aren’t fussed about this one tonight, and would rather see their side ditch the cup early in favour of other competitions.
