A number of Liverpool supporters are excited about the Reds possibly signing Atletico Madrid star Saul Niguez this summer following an update on his future.
Jurgen Klopp may be looking for a new central midfielder ahead of next season following the exit of Gini Wijnaldum to Paris Saint-Germain. The Dutchman was a huge player for Liverpool during his five years at the club, so not replacing him could be deemed a risk, given his quality and availability.

One player who could potentially move to Anfield is Saul, who has been a fantastic player for Atletico, scoring 43 goals in 337 appearances for the La Liga champions.
According to Atleti Francia on Twitter [via LFC Transfer Room], Liverpool are going on the ‘offensive’ to sign the midfielder this summer. They are reportedly going to bid €40m (£34.3m) for the Spaniard’s services and Atletico could accept the offer.
