Plenty of Liverpool fans heaped praise on captain Jordan Henderson after his side’s 5-0 victory against Atalanta in the Champions League.
A hat-trick from Diogo Jota, along with goals from Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, secured all three points and ensured they remained top of their group, unbeaten and without conceding a goal (via BBC Sport).

But Henderson was picked out for special recognition by segments of the Kop faithful, as he started in midfield for Jurgen Klopp’s side alongside Gini Wijnaldum and Curtis Jones.
Per Sofascore, Henderson made three key passes, two interceptions, only lost possession five times, accumulating a pass success rate of 93%.

Unsurprisingly, supporters were full of praise for Henderson and made their feelings clear on social media.

Hearing him shouting all game was brilliant. “Good lad” was the main one he used. “Go onnnnnn” to trigger the press. Proper leader
