Many Liverpool fans reacted to Diogo Jota’s hat-trick against Atalanta and wondered what will happen to Roberto Firmino in The Reds’ upcoming games.
Jota scored a trio of goals to cap off what was a wonderful European night at the Gewiss Stadium as Liverpool maintained their position at the top of Group D.

Before the game, Firmino was dropped to the bench after only scoring once from the first seven league games of the campaign (Whoscored) and his Portuguese teammate has now scored five goals from nine outings in all competitions after Tuesday’s game (TransferMarkt).
Liverpool’s new £41m signing is the talk of the city right now, putting the £64.8m-rated man’s place in the starting eleven in serious doubt, despite him playing a huge part in Jurgen Klopp’s formidable front three over the years.

Because of this, supporters believe that his position in the squad is in serious doubt, with their final game before the international break against Manchester City on the horizon at the weekend.
