Loads of Liverpool fans have been reacting to a rather bizarre report, which claims Loris Karius has a clause in his loan deal with Besiktas that means he can only be dropped for a maximum of four matches in a season.
According to Turkish outlet Aksam, via @AnfieldEdition, Besiktas manager Sergen Yalcin was shocked to find out that he must play Karius whenever the 26 year-old is fit, as there is a clause in his contract which means he can only be dropped for a maximum of four games each season if available to play.
This is of course quite the revelation considering how poor the shot-stopper has been at times during his loan spell, even getting booed off the pitch by his own fans earlier this season after a domestic cup defeat against second-tier side Büyükşehir Belediye Erzurumspor, per The Liverpool Echo.
Loads of fans have been reacting to this news, with plenty pointing the finger of praise towards sporting director Michael Edwards, who has become something of a hero due to his remarkable success while in charge of the club’s transfers. Check out some of the best Twitter reactions down below, as one fan joked about the ‘sly’ transfer guru while others hailed his latest ‘masterclass’…
