Liverpool: Fans put off by Kai Havertz’s extortionate price tag

Liverpool fans were astonished when they discovered the new price tag of Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz.

The 20-year-old has been linked with a move to the Premier League since the summer, with the likes of Manchester United also showing an interest in the youngster according to BILD.

Having scored two goals in 13 Bundesliga appearances for Die Werkself, the German protege has attracted interest from manager Jurgen Klopp.

BILD revealed that a £110m price has been put on the head of Havertz, predicting a club-record fee would be required in order to bring him to Liverpool.

Supporters of the Merseyside club were not impressed with the raised price tag for the European starlet, with one fan even suggesting that £40m was a much more suitable price tag.

The comments on Twitter painted a clear picture of their feelings towards this latest report.
