Liverpool are set to be without star summer signing Diogo Jota for their trip to Fulham on Sunday, according to Paul Joyce of The Times.
The 24-year-old limped off during his side’s 1-1 draw against FC Midtjylland, with Jurgen Klopp revealing on Friday during his pre-match press conference that he had suffered a knock (cited by Sky Sports).

But Joyce revealed the full extent of Jota’s damage on Friday morning and will miss the trip to the capital due to a knee injury. He added that the Merseysiders are still waiting to find out how serious his blow is.
Jota has been instrumental for Liverpool since his £41m move from Wolves in the summer, scoring five goals in five Premier League starts and four in the Champions League (Whoscored).

Baring in mind that the Reds had already qualified for the next round in Europe, supporters believed that Klopp only had himself to blame by playing Jota in such a meaningless affair.

Should never have played. Would have rather lost 5-0!

This lies entirely on Klopp , why play a strong team when we had won the group anyway is beyond me

We risked losing Jota, Fabinho & Salah in that game which was a complete dead rubber. Absolute madness
