Many Liverpool fans are reacting to the latest transfer rumours, which are linking Brighton player Yves Bissouma with a move to Anfield.
According to @alex_crook and tweeted out by @TheAnfieldTalk, Liverpool and Arsenal are considering a January swoop for the midfielder. The defensive ace has featured nine times in the Premier League this season, scoring one goal.
He is clearly a rock in the midfield and provides great cover for his back line as he has managed 3.2 tackles and 1.9 clearances a game (WhoScored). These sorts of stats have seen some Reds fans praising the Seagulls ace, with one even calling him a ‘beast’.
However, it seems like many do not want the 24 year-old and one of the main reasons behind this is due to the abundance of talent they already have in the middle of the pitch. They have their experienced midfielders like Thiago, Jordan Henderson and Fabinho, but also have some great emerging young talent like Curtis Jones, who scored in the Champions League this week.
The Gunners meanwhile could need some midfield reinforcements to follow summer arrival Thomas Partey, who is already injured.
