Liverpool fans have heaped praise on Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain after winning the club’s Goal of the Month for October for his goal against Genk in the Champions League.
The 26-year-old hit a stunning first-time shot that went on off the underside of the crossbar that helped the Reds beat the Belgian champions 4-1 at the Luminus Arena.

The goal was one of two that he scored on the night, with Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah rounding off the tally for the evening.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has now scored three goals in two outings in the Champions League and also got a goal during his side’s victory on penalties against Arsenal in the Carabao Cup.

After suffering a serious knee injury against Roma during the semi-final of the Champions League, the Englishman has had a long time out of the side and has come back and picked up where he left off.
