Liverpool: Fans shower Andy Robertson with praise

Liverpool fans have been looking back in awe at Andy Robertson’s career at Anfield and were left thoroughly impressed about how far he has come in such a short space of time.

The 25-year-old arrived on Merseyside for £8m from Hull City in 2017 and spoke about how surreal it felt to move to the five-time Champions League winners at the time.

Robertson has been a critical part of manager Jurgen Klopp’s side and has helped his team win the Champions League in Madrid, the Super Cup in Istanbul and the Club World Cup in Doha. All within two-and-a-half seasons.

The Scotland international has already surpassed a century of appearances for Liverpool, and has scored three goals and conjured up 23 assists in 105 matches.

Supporters were looking back on Robertson’s career so far and were amazed by the rapid progress that he has made during his two full seasons at the club. One fan said that he “embodies the togetherness” of the team and the club as a whole.
