Liverpool fans have mixed feelings over some of their former Reds. The likes of Raheem Sterling and Philippe Coutinho have been treated with disdain by the fans since their exits. However, not all former Anfield stars get that treatment, as Emre Can found out last night when the Kopites flocked to congratulate him on his first ever Juventus goal.
A moment i have worked for!
Thank you team and thank you fans!

The 25-year-old midfielder spent four seasons at Anfield before his contract expired last summer and he departed on a free transfer to Juventus. The German midfielder, though, has found life hard in Turin so far and has made just 19 appearances in all competitions. Last night, though, the ex-Anfield favourite scored his first goal in Italian football at Juventus beat Chievo 3-0, and the Reds were delighted.
Emre Can isn’t the only former Red plying his trade in Italy who they’re fond of. Lucas Leiva is currently at Lazio and is thriving in Serie A, whilst Suso is also at AC Milan. When Can left there was a lot of discontent from the fans, however, at no point did the ex-Bayern Munich man let the Reds down when he was under contract at Anfield, and he left with dignity, which has led to the fans support even now he’s left the club.

The Reds are delighted to see Can starting to flourish in Turin, and will hope he can go on to achieve great things as a Juventus player.
