Liverpool fans take to Twitter to vent anger as ticketing news for final breaks

Liverpool fans are historically some of the best. The Reds trek far and wide across Europe and the world to follow their side, and when they face Tottenham in Madrid on June 1st it will be no different. However, ticketing information has been released and they’re far from happy with both the pricing and their allocation for the showpiece final.

The Kopites are rightly fuming. Atletico Madrid’s Wanda Metropolitano Stadium has a capacity of 67,829, yet for the massive European final Liverpool supporters have been given an allocation of just 16,613. The opposing Spurs fans will get the same and that means that less than half of the stadium will be filled with Tottenham and Liverpool fans as they clash in this massive game.

The Reds are angry enough with just that, but the buck doesn’t stop there. Not only is the allocation a joke, but the price of tickets is also a farce. Fans may end up having to pay £410 for a restricted view ticket, and that doesn’t even begin to include flights or accommodation. Should any Scousers want to travel it could cost them well over £1000 and as a result of that they’ve been taking to Twitter to fume.

You can see exactly what the Reds have had to say here:

The Reds are absolutely livid at the prices and minimal number of tickets that are going and will be desperate to get their hands on what they can before they’ve sold out.
