Liverpool fans are nervously awaiting news on midfielder Fabinho after he went off injured during his side’s 1-1 draw against Napoli at Anfield on Wednesday.
The Brazilian left the field after just 19 minutes holding his left ankle in the process in a game that could have seen the Reds advance to the last 16 of the Champions League for the third season in a row.
Fabinho was a key asset in Liverpool’s Champions League charge last season as they lifted the elusive trophy in Madrid after a 2-0 win against Tottenham at the Wanda Metropolitano.
To add to the fears of fans, the Brazil international was pictured wearing a protective boot alongside former Barcelona and Chelsea star Deco.
