Loads of Liverpool fans would turn down the opportunity to resign former midfielder Philippe Coutinho for a discounted price.
The Brazilian winger was a fan-favourite at Anfield but the manner of his departure meant that he burned all bridges after forcing through a £142m move to Barcelona in 2018. The Reds’ former No. 10 described the move like a dream come true (as per BBC Sport) and was expected to be a critical figure for the Catalan giants for years to come, given his transfer fee. However, his fantasy quickly turned into a nightmare.
After managing just 11 goals in 54 games, he was shipped off to Bayern Munich on loan, and Mundo Deportivo (via TeamTalk) have revealed they are looking for a price in the region of £67m in the summer. Supporters were not impressed and made their feelings clear on social media. Indeed, one fan said that he would not even take him back if he was available on a free transfer.
