Many Liverpool fans have been  slamming the performance of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in their game at West Ham United in the Premier League this evening.

The midfielder struggled to make any real impact on the match and was consequently hauled off by Jurgen Klopp for Thiago in the 69th minute, at which point the Reds trailed 2-1.

Oxlade-Chamberlain lost out on four of his duels and also failed to record a single shot on target, clearance, blocked shot, interception, key pass or accurate cross, losing possession of the ball on 13 separate occasions (SofaScore).

With the likes of Thiago on the bench, and Naby Keita and Curtis Jones to return after injury, the 28-year-old may feel as if his place in the starting XI is now under threat.
