Manchester United summer target Jadon Sancho has thrown a curveball into the mix with his latest comments.
The highly sought-after young talent has got teams falling over themselves to sign him. One club in particular is Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side, who are arguably the favourites to snap him up this transfer window. However, according to Kicker (relayed via @LFCTransferRoom), the England international would prefer a move to Liverpool over Man United.
Should Liverpool sell Salah or Mane to fund a move for Jadon Sancho?
It seemed like the Merseyside outfit were seriously eyeing up a move for Sancho after fans went crazy over Jurgen Klopp claiming he would “look good in Liverpool red”. However, talks have very much died down, with the current financial climate likely being a reason for the club’s silence on the transfer front as of late.
The 20-year-old’s comments have come as a shock to some fans, as they thought any hope on signing the £105m-valued star was dead in the water. One Liverpool fan wants to see talks resume as Sancho is “another player begging to join”. Another supporter has boldly suggested the club sell either Sadio Mane or Mohamed Salah in order to raise funds for the Dortmund winger.
Both Liverpool attackers are currently valued at £108m, which would bring in a very handsome profit if Liverpool were to cash in on either of them.

Liverpool wait another year until there’s only 1 year left in his contract. Balls in our court then if he wants us . Could be around 50m
