Many Liverpool fans reacted in astonishment after it was claimed that Mohamed Salah is "not happy" at Anfield.

The 28-year-old has been at the club since 2017 after his £34m move from Roma and has been a sensation during that time, finding the net 110 times in 173 appearances (TransferMarkt).

Salah's former teammate, Mohamed Aboutrika, told the Mirror (cited by Anfield Watch) that the man dubbed as the "Egyptian King" is not happy at Liverpool but said that he cannot talk about the reasons why in public.

This follows on from what Salah himself told AS, stating that his "future is in Liverpool's hands" where he refused to rule out a possible move to either Real Madrid or Barcelona in the future.

Because of this, supporters were gravely concerned about the situation, with one fan suggesting that the situation is remarkably similar to when Philippe Coutinho exited.
