Liverpool loanee Harvey Elliott has been given some high praise in reaction to some of his performances during the 2020/21 campaign.

The 17-year-old is currently on loan at Championship side Blackburn Rovers where he has been turning heads, having scored four goals and provided nine assists in 23 appearances (TransferMarkt). Elliott picked up a Premier League winners’ medal after his brief involvement for Jurgen Klopp’s side last season.
The Kop faithful have been monitoring the youngster’s progress closely and have been impressed with what they have seen from Elliott so far in a blue and white shirt.

This has been echoed by an unnamed senior Blackburn teammate of Elliott’s, who offered glowing praise of the youngster. According to Football Insider, the young winger was described as “the best 17-year-old I’ve ever seen” and tipped him to have an “unreal career” at the highest level.
These comments echoed what manager Jurgen Klopp previously said about Elliott, telling the club’s official website that he was an “exciting prospect” and admired his “attitude.”

Liverpool supporters will have known this for a while, especially those that keep a close eye on proceedings in the U23s’ squad.
Elliott was the stand-out performer for that squad last season – which granted him the opportunity to strut his stuff for the champions and now in the second tier.
Whoever that Blackburn teammate is couldn’t be more right. Elliott has a bright future in the game and it’s Liverpool’s responsibility to nurture his talent.
