Liverpool fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are drawing up a list of players who can fill their void at right wing back after the Daily Mirror revealed that the Reds are lining up a summer move for Arsenal’s Carl Jenkinson.
Since the emergence of Arsenal’s latest youngster, Hector Bellerin, Jenkinson is now surplus to requirements after going out on loan to West Ham.
Many assumed that Jenkinson would make his move at West Ham permanent after having a successful spell with them so far this season.
But Liverpool are confident they can swoop in and steel Sam Allardyce’s on loan defender, after Brendan Rodgers has had to play a mix of wingers, midfielders and defenders at right wing back.
Arsene Wenger is likely to sell the England Under-21 international as he already has Bellerin, Mathieu Debuchy and Calum Chambers at his disposal.

Carl may just be another player in the mould of Kelly, Moreno etc. not really proven. We need to buy real grafters not to keep trying hope to get a gem. Lets just go for the gems period.
The Raheem story is now irritating. The boy is good if he keeps his head cool. Otherwise IMO, Ibe is a much better player, he is more of a total package. He might not have the same pace but he has got some pace, stamina, skill, shot in his feet. He is better!
