Liverpool have impressed so far this year, but it has become increasingly clear that the Reds are heavily reliant on a select few players.
Stars including the likes of Mane and Firmino have become key for Jurgen Klopp – and so it would not come as a surprise to learn that the German is looking to expand his skillset.
More specifically, Klopp is seemingly looking to bolster out his impressive squad; and he reportedly has his eye on a Bundesliga star.
According to the Mirror, Liverpool are once again keeping tabs on Christian Pulisic; the breakout American star that they were seemingly keen on over the summer.
The attacker currently plays for German side Borussia Dortmund, where he has been impressing the punters in the Football Transfer Tavern.
Whilst the Mirror are not suggesting that another bid has gone in for the American, they do suggest that Klopp’s insistence on bringing players to the club in the new year could mean that they return for Pulisic.
Pulisic has been key for Borussia Dortmund this season, having already made 12 appearances in all competitions.
Our landlord thinks that Klopp’s connection with Dortmund could be crucial in making this deal happen.
