Manchester United are interested in signing Juventus midfielder Emre Can, as reported by Sky Sports.
If they are to sign the former Liverpool man, United will supposedly need to pay £35m, despite the fact that the Germany international didn’t even make Juventus’ Champions League squad:
A January move for former Liverpool midfielder Emre Can is being considered by Manchester United, Sky Sports News understands.

Many Liverpool fans have taken this as a chance to laugh at both Man United and their former player, as for them, this is a sign of how far their rivals have fallen, while it also gives an indication that the grass is not always greener away from Anfield.
This is especially easy for them with United currently sitting 12th in the league, just two points above the relegation zone, while Can has made just three substitute appearances this season, amassing just 79 minutes of football, as per WhoScored, while Liverpool have won every one of their league games this season.
A selection of Twitter reaction to the report, including posts from amused Liverpool fans, can be seen below:

Queue United fans who slagged him daily when he was a Liverpool player now saying he’s always been amazing. Until they don’t sign him and they’ll pretend they never said it.

As a Liverpool fan I wholeheartedly agree they should buy this Lidl Pogba. He’ll be a fine addition
