Liverpool youngster Calvin Ramsay has now returned to full training after suffering injury problems.
The Lowdown: Ramsay out injured
The teenager completed a move to Anfield during the summer transfer window, joining from Aberdeen as a highly-rated young right-back.
Frustratingly, Ramsay hasn’t managed to make his Liverpool debut yet, with injury problems keeping him sidelined for the opening few months of the season.
The Reds’ fitness woes are subsiding, however, with the Scot one of those now back in the fold.
The Latest: Youngster makes return
Taking to Twitter on Friday, Jones relayed an ‘update from Klopp’ that Ramsay is now training with his Liverpool teammate, in a fresh boost for the Reds:
“Ramsay not ready to play but back in full training and likely to play with U21s to get minutes.”
The Verdict: Exciting prospect
This is great news for Liverpool, with Ramsay someone who the club feel can be a strong deputy to Trent Alexander-Arnold moving forward, having been hailed as ‘elite’ by Aberdeen chairman Dave Cormack.

Seen as someone with great attacking talent from his right-back role, he registered nine assists for his former club and should only learn from a world-class performer in Alexander-Arnold.
Ramsay will still need time on the training ground before he is likely handed minutes but it does now feel as though his debut is edging closer all the time.
