It was not the best weekend for Liverpool fans here in the Football Transfer Tavern after seeing their side fall to a draw at home to Aston Villa but the Telegraph does have a fair bit of good news.

They are not the only club who are keen on the Egyptian however, but given Salah has already expressed his love for the club not to mention a willingness to further his career in the Premier League, we are not at all shocked that a move is looking like being completed in the next few days.
