Liverpool should force through a move for Brandt now instead of the summer, here’s 2 reasons why

Though there’s just so much attacking intent for the Liverpool fans parked up at the bar in the Transfer Tavern to wax poetic over right now, the notion of further firepower touching down is clearly hugely exciting.

There’s nothing quite like the sight of our punters locked in debate as they discuss the prospect of a lethal forward potentially joining the club and the Reds who frequent our four walls in their droves are no different this evening.

Following reports linking the Merseyside titans with a move for Bayern Leverkusen forward Julian Brandt, who could reportedly be an addition this summer, some of the Kop faithful have been chatting about the idea of potentially forcing through a move.

The 20-year-old German international would be a wonderful arrival to aid compatriot Jurgen Klopp’s title surge at Liverpool and here are TWO reasons the club should attempt to force through a move for him this month.

Fluid, Fluid, Fluid

One of the most pleasant sights to watch in the Premier League this season, whoever you support, has been Liverpool in full attacking flow.

Klopp has constructed one of the most devasting frontlines in recent memory in the trident of Roberto Firmino, Philippe Coutinho and Sadio Mane, an environment in which Brandt really would flourish.

Able to operate across the frontline, he’d be a more lethal option to have in front of goal, giving Liverpool perhaps the most varied frontline outside of Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Unselfish

Clearly, Liverpool are a side based on far more than simply a good group of players.

Jurgen Klopp has instilled a wonderful sense of teamwork and unity at Anfield once more and Brandt’s penchant for assisting his teammates, dropping into all sorts of positions, would surely stand him in good stead on Merseyside.
