Liverpool are already making waves in the transfer market this summer, splashing the cash on the likes of Naby Keita and Fabinho already, as they look to finally win them themselves a Premier League title.
The Reds, buoyed by their performance in last season’s Champions League, will be confident of finally bringing home the big one under manager Jurgen Klopp, and with a few more additions, our landlord agrees with this sentiment.
However, it’s not going to all be about signing attacking talent for the Reds, and they will need to go out and sign some defenders too if they are serious about competing.
One player who could well do a superb job for the Anfield outfit is Burnley defender James Tarkowski, who has been in superb form for the Clarets over the last 12 months.
Tarkowski has seen his form rewarded with England honours, and the next logical step in his career is to move to a team capable of challenging for the top four.
While Burnley might well have had a superb season in the Premier League last time out, there is nothing like playing for someone who is competing at the top of the table, and Tarkowski might well fancy challenging himself at the best level possible.
A move to Liverpool, and a partnership alongside the likes of Virgil Van Dijk could well help guide the Reds towards a Premier League title win.
