Liverpool fans are looking over to our landlord here in the Football Transfer Tavern as the Daily Star Sunday seem to think one of their forwards is on his way out of the club.

Now as a couple of our punters note over a pint and a burger at the bar, we think there could well be a fair few Liverpool players and indeed potentially Brendan Rodgers to exit in the next few months, but for now, it is Italian Mario Balotelli who is being shoved towards the exit door.

After failing to impress since his £16 million summer move from AC Milan, it seems that a return to his Italian homeland and a sensational link up with Roberto Mancini could be on the cards.

That would of course take the forward back to the San Siro but as an Inter Milan player once again which is complicated in itself, not to mention the fact that Mancini has already experienced both the good and the bad side of Balotelli.

Either way, Liverpool fans are desperate to see the troubled star leave and will be happy with an offer close to their original outlay.
