Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern have discussed what business Jurgen Klopp could complete ever since his appointment at Anfield- and they’re excited with the latest suggestions from the media.
Comments on Sane come from Norwegian journalist Jan Aage Fjortoft, formerly of Swindon Town, who made the sensational claim on his Twitter account.
“I expect Liverpool and Klopp go “big time” for Schalke-striker Leroy Sane.”
Sane, just 19-years-old, has shown brilliant form in the Bundesliga this season with a tally of five goals from 15 appearances in all competitions.
Capable of playing in a forward role or on the wings, Sane could be seen as the ideal replacement for Raheem Sterling whilst also bolstering Klopp’s attacking options- though crucially not filling the squad with too many strikers.
