Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern have expressed their concerns about their chances of finishing in the top-four, as their lack of form has left the door open for their rivals to take advantage.
Whilst the Reds remain in the driving seat for now, the punters at the bar are making it clear their side needs to invest heavily this summer- and they’ve got frustrated with one report, as they feel their side is fighting a losing battle.
Spanish outlet Don Balon states Jurgen Klopp is not prepared to end his pursuit for Real Madrid ace Isco and will launch a last-gasp attempt to sign the Spaniard, despite suggestions earlier this week that the midfielder will pen a new deal at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The former Malaga man has consistently been linked with an exit from the Spanish capital due to continued lack of first-team activity but his openings have improved recently, as he’s established himself as a key player in Zinedine Zidane’s side.
With Real Madrid regularly linked to top-class new signings, Isco’s future will remain shrouded in speculation until he puts pen to paper on a new deal- but our landlord agrees with the fans in the bar and believes Klopp should look elsewhere.
