Loaned Manchester United star doesn’t intend to return

Moyes has begun to clear some of the dead wood Some interesting reports have just arrived in The Football Transfer Tavern that have caused discussion among the Manchester United supporters in the bar.

Sky Sports claim that Red Devils midfielder Anderson, who is currently on loan at Fiorentina, has stated that ‘lots of players want out’ of Old Trafford in the summer.

The Brazilian signed for the Serie A club during last month’s transfer window, but he has confirmed that he plans no place to return to Old Trafford in the summer.

Signed from Porto in 2005, Anderson never really fulfilled his potential with the Red Devils despite being giving several chances by previous manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

His successor David Moyes was quick to end the 25-year-old’s spell at Old Trafford, with Anderson confirming that he was in Florence to ‘to stay’.

The futures of several long-term players at Old Trafford are all in the balance at the end of the current season with Nemanja Vidic, Patrice Evra and Rio Ferdinand all seeing their contracts expire in July.

According to Anderson, his former team-mate Nani, who only penned a extension to his United contact in the summer, also wants to leave the club after being marginalised by Moyes.

Anderson said: “I’m sure that lots of players want out, especially people like myself and Nani who have been in Manchester for seven or eight years.

“Manchester United is a huge club, a club that does everything for its players but sometimes a footballer wants to leave just to experience a different way to play football, to learn something as well.”
