The Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to the news that their on-loan striker, Jason Cummings wants to stay at the club past this summer despite his loan from Nottingham Forest ending at the end of the season. Cummings joined the club on-loan in the January transfer window but is keen to turn his 6-month stay into a permanent one.
JC: Personally I want to stay and I want to be here.

Cummings has scored six goals in 17 appearances for Rangers, and at the age of just 22, he could become a very popular figure at Ibrox if he makes his move permanent and keeps scoring goals. The striker has spent most of his career with Rangers’ Scottish Premiership rivals, Hibernian, where he scored 71 goals in his 149 appearances for the club and won the Scottish Cup back in 2016.
After a successful spell in Edinburgh with Hibs, the young striker made the journey south to The City Ground to play for Nottingham Forest in summer 2017. However, just six months later after scoring only four goals for the club, with just one of them coming in the Championship, the Scottish striker was loaned to Ibrox where he’s now plying his trade for the Gers. Next season, he’s set to return to Forest, although his performances in Glasgow could force the club to force their hand to sign him.
