The Transfer Tavern is filled with Leeds fans this evening, hoping for an earful of last-minute news from our landlord ahead of their Championship clash with Fulham.
The Whites are enjoying a fantastic campaign under Garry Monk, who has guided them to a playoff standing of fourth place since taking the managerial hot seat at Elland Road last summer.
Fulham will be no easy test for the Yorkshire outfit, however; the west Londoners are in seventh place, have lost just three times in their last 16 league outings and play some fantastic football – they’re arguably the best attacking side in the division.
Nonetheless, Leeds are on a run of three wins in four, including a 3-1 victory over Birmingham last Friday which saw January loan signing Alfonso Pedraza net his first goal for the club since arriving from Villarreal.
And it appears the highly-rated Spaniard’s strike has already made him a bit of a fan favourite up in Yorkshire, judging by the response to his Twitter post earlier today.
