23-year-old Federico Bernardeschi is expected to leave Fiorentina this summer and Antonio Conte is keen to bring his compatriot to the Premier League.
However, Chelsea appear to be in the driving seat, according to reports from Gazzetta Dello Sport, and the arrival of the Italian ace would significantly bolster the Blues’ attacking lines and would leave room for Willian to complete a reported move to Manchester United.
Bernardeschi has scored eleven times for Fiorentina this season, adding a further four assists to his tally.
ST: Romelu Lukaku
Many were surprised to see Chelsea sanction the departure of Romelu Lukaku on a permanent deal to Everton as it was clear the Belgian striker could have been a star for the Blues.

The 24-year-old has a stellar reputation in the Premier League, boasting 52 goals since making his switch to Everton permanent, and he would be seen as the ideal candidate to push Chelsea to further success.
