Having secured Champions League football last season, the Merseyside club is widely anticipated to spend a healthy amount of money on new arrivals to give Klopp the best possible chance of success in Europe’s most prized competition.
Additionally, it is rather notorious that Liverpool has failed to win a single Premier League trophy.
Many Liverpool supporters hope that Klopp will be the man to conclude that record if such ambitions are to be met, then spending big is vital. One area of the pitch that requires investment is Liverpool’s attackers.

Edin Dzeko
While Edin Dzeko isn’t a target that provides longevity, he does provide you with goals and plenty of them too. The 31-year-old scored a stunning total of 39 goals in 51 appearances for Roma last season.
That total included 29 Serie A goals, as the former Wolfsburg forward finished the season as Serie A’s top scorer.
In addition to proving his status as a prolific striker, Dzeko has already amassed Premier League experience having been a Manchester City player for five seasons, which included Man City’s title success of 2013-14 where Dzeko scored 26 goals. His arrival would seriously strengthen Klopp’s attacking options.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
Reports have been linking the Gabon striker with a sensational reunion with manager Jurgen Klopp, who coached Aubameyang during his time as Borussia Dortmund’s manager. The 28-year-old scored 43 goals for club and country last season, which included 31 Bundesliga goals as Aubaeyang concluded the campaign as the division’s top scorer.
Dortmund’s forward is highly regarded for his terrific finishing ability, his blistering pace and counter-attacking threat. His arrival would significantly improve the quality of Klopp’s attack.
Andrea Belotti
The 23-year-old produced a stunning season with Torino scoring 28 goals in all competitions for the Italian side, which saw him finish 3rd in the Serie A top scorer chart. The Italian was involved with 33 league goals last season for Torino, scoring 26 goals and providing seven assists. While Firmino has been excellent for Liverpool, they are devoid of a regular goalscorer – Belotti could be the solution that Klopp is craving.
Torino’s centre-forward has displayed his ability to score with his head or with either foot, which would make him an appealing proposition for most European teams. At the age of 23, Belotti retains space for further refinement.
