Manchester United’s transfer saga with Jadon Sancho has rumbled on for a number of months now, with seemingly no end in sight.
Last week, ESPN claimed that the Red Devils are leading the race to sign Sancho in the summer. James Benson added that the winger has told Borussia Dortmund he wants to leave Germany and return to the Premier League.
The England international has emerged as one of Europe’s hottest talents after establishing himself as a first-team regular at the Signal Iduna Park. Now, Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Sancho will accept an offer from Man United, although no official bid has been made yet.
The 20-year-old, who is Dortmund’s top scorer this season, has scored 17 goals and 16 assists in the Bundesliga so far. He has been linked with a move to Old Trafford for a very long time, stemming back to Jose Mourinho’s infamous stint in charge at the Theatre of Dreams.
Unsurprisingly, loads of United fans gushed over Romano’s tweet, with one supporter commenting that Marcus Rashford is “unreal” in reference to the star’s charm offensive, and another urging Ed Woodward to “get it done.”
