Manchester United: Fans fume at lack of progress in Jadon Sancho transfer pursuit

It seems like the updates on Jadon Sancho possibly moving to Manchester United will continue to change and, with no end in sight as it stands, many fans have been reacting to the latest news on the winger.

According to Manchester Evening News, and as tweeted by @utdreport, United ‘have not even broached the issue’ of the proposed transfer fee for Sancho, nor how it would be structured. They added that there has been no resolution on the player’s salary expectations and the intermediary fee for agent Marco Lichtsteiner.

This is not the update that supporters of the Red Devils will likely want to hear and, in tandem with Borussia Dortmund’s sporting director saying last week that Sancho will not be leaving this summer, the deal could start to look rather unlikely.

The Englishman has made 99 appearances for the Bundesliga side, registering 77 goal contributions as he has scored 34 goals and supplied 43 assists, per Transfermarkt, and to be able to bring a player of his calibre to Old Trafford should be a massive coup.

However, it looks set to go down to the wire in this transfer window, and the Manchester side will possibly have to look to other targets instead.
