Our landlord has managed to amuse some of our punters here in the Football Transfer Tavern as they look towards the big screen and see this video footage of former Manchester United midfielder Anderson.
The Red Devils flop has of course finally been released by the club recently and it seems that he has not exactly adopted a ‘New Year, new me’ mentality, coming off the bench for new side Internacional and managing to fluff a penalty for the Brazilian club.
As one of our punters notes, thank God Anderson was finally let go by United this winter though we are pretty sure he will live on in the memories of supporters for some time yet given how much money he cost and how little he delivered.
Look on the bright side United fans. At least you won’t have to watch the rather overweight Brazilian try and complete a job in midfield any longer!
