Manchester United fans are grinning from ear-to-ear in the Transfer Tavern today, after hearing their side has made the first approach to sign an excelling Premier League star.
France Football claim the Red Devils have approached Leicester City’s Riyad Mahrez to discuss a move to Old Trafford, as the race heats up for the reported Arsenal target from the summer.
Mahrez has been a catalyst for Leicester City’s tremendous form this season, with the Foxes currently sat third in the Premier League and losing just once in their opening 11 games.
With eight goals in 12 matches, Mahrez has become one of Britain’s finest players and is expected to make a major leap to a big side next summer; with it added that Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain are also keen.
Leicester City are determined not to sell any of their top players in January, with in-form striker Jamie Vardy also attracting attention, but they will be hapless to prevent a move to a bigger side next summer as their stars chase down their dreams of success.
