The Manchester United fans here in the Transfer Tavern aren’t sure how they feel about Wayne Rooney playing for their side anymore.
Certainly, they were happy with the news that he’s going to be on the bench for the club for the immediate future, but they also want to see him come back into the side at full fitness because they know how good he can be.
He could feature in United’s Europa League tie against Fenerbahce, though it remains to be seen for how long, but it appears that is not the only fight he has had on his hands recently.
Known for his love of boxing, Rooney has been involved in his fair share of scraps over the years but this one reported by The Sun seems to be a bit more good-natured than usual.
The former Everton man has been snapped wrestling with United scout Ricardo Formosinho and looked as though he was pretty happy in training, despite seeing his playing time limited in recent weeks.
Maybe he should try this on Mourinho if he doesn’t get the nod soon!
