Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern are pleased to see their side has made moves to secure a quality summer addition, as they discuss the reports over a bottle of red.
CalcioMercato state that Manchester United have moved to the front of the queue for Valencia hotshot Sofiane Feghouli, as they’ve tabled a contract offer to the Algerian international.
Feghouli has starred with the struggling La Liga giants and is expected to leave this summer when his contract expires. He’s free to sign a pre-contractual agreement with a side outside of Spain and United are one of many sides chasing his signature.
The creative wide-midfielder has excelled in Spain and may be looking for a fresh challenge this summer, particularly if he were to be offered a chance at a Champions League level- which could prove to be United’s downfall as they look set to miss out on a top-four finish.
Our landlord feels that Feghouli could definitely provide something to Manchester United and he’s urged the board to complete a deal.
