Man Utd’s 2025/26 pre-season: Fixtures, results & where to watch

Finishing 15th is hardly what Ruben Amorim will have had in mind after taking over from Erik ten Hag at Manchester United in November 2024.

Now handed a clean slate of sorts with the conclusion of his first campaign at Old Trafford, the Portuguese coach must now pick up a team still reeling from the Europa League final defeat to domestic rivals Tottenham Hotspur and deliver results on the pitch.

His immediate task will be to put the squad through its paces in pre-season, with United clocking up the air miles as per usual for this time of year.

Here is a rundown of the Red Devils’ pre-season plans, along with kick-off times, broadcast information and a look at the start to their Premier League campaign.

Man Utd’s pre-season fixtures

Man Utd have five pre-season fixtures to look forward to over the next few weeks, with four coming up against Premier League opposition.

Their first trip takes them to Sweden, where they will take on newly promoted Leeds United in a grudge match at the home of Allsvenskan outfit AIK.

Amorim’s side will then take part in the Premier League Summer Series in the United States, with three matches taking place against West Ham United, Bournemouth and Everton.

Their final pre-season clash will come in front of the home fans, with Fiorentina visiting Old Trafford on 9th August – eight days before their Premier League campaign gets underway.

Where to watch Man Utd’s pre-season matches

United’s friendlies will all be made available on MUTV, while their Summer Series matches may yet be broadcast elsewhere, though this is yet to be confirmed.

During the last edition of the Premier League Summer Series in 2023, broadcast rights were picked up by Sky Sports in the UK.

Man Utd’s 2025/26 Premier League fixtures

Manchester United were handed a potential rude awakening to the new Premier League season when the fixtures were announced in mid-June, with the visit of Arsenal on the opening day getting the campaign off to an explosive start.

A trip to Manchester City after the first international break ensures there is little time to take a breather for United, while they also host Chelsea in their first six.

Hoping to take advantage of the absence of European football, the Red Devils could yet make a statement in the opening weeks of the season.

Note: All fixtures are subject to change. Only TV selections for fixtures in August have been announced.
