Manchester Evening News has all of our punters on the edge of their seats here in the Football Transfer Tavern as they seem to think the club are ready to move for Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo.
According to the publication, the City players are expecting a move come the summer and while they certainly have the cash for it, quite if that would be within the FFP regulations not to mention something Real Madrid would even entertain is another matter altogether.
We think that City will be very disappointed if that is their only target for this summer and would suggest looking elsewhere ASAP.
Now as one of our punters notes, we don’t think there is much loyalty in football anymore, but we do think that Ronaldo would refuse a move to City due to his love of United!
