Manchester United: Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s donation has lots of fans talking

Lots of Red Devils were left stunned by Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s latest contribution during the pandemic.

According to an exclusive from The Sun, the 22-year-old has paid for 20,000 pairs of clinical PPE gloves to be distributed to medical staff in the Democratic Republic of Congo, which has reportedly cost him £10,000 out of his own pocket.

This is just the latest example of Wan-Bissaka’s charitable efforts, as he has also helped to raise money for the NHS in light of recent events, and taken part in a FIFA tournament fundraiser with the likes of Chelsea’s Reece James and club legend Rio Ferdinand.

After arriving at Old Trafford from boyhood side Crystal Palace last summer for £49.5m, the right-back has made 26 appearances under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, picking up 2 assists, registering a staggering 3.8 tackles per game, averaging 2 interceptions, and completing 1.9 clearances on average in the Premier League. His current market value is estimated at £28.8m via Transfermarkt.

Unsurprisingly, loads of United fans reacted to the news on Twitter, with several supporters dubbing Wan-Bissaka as “class,” and another admitting they have “massive respect” for the youngster.
