Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are considering a move for Roma defender Evan Ndicka. The 26-year-old has been ever present for Roma this season, making 32 appearances across all competitions.
He has drawn headlines for finding the back of the net in three consecutive Serie A matches recently, and is on the radar of several top European clubs. Transfer insider Nicolo Schira has reported that Manchester United and Tottenham, alongside Barcelona, are monitoring the situation of Ndicka.
The 26-year-old has a reported value of €50m, and Roma are reportedly open to letting the player leave for that amount after the summer’s World Cup. His contract at the Giallorossi expires in 2028, so this summer represents the best time for Roma to get a sizeable return.
Ndicka joined Roma on a free transfer from Frankfurt in 2023 after a five year stay and a Europa League triumph. Ndicka was born in Paris and represented France at various youth levels from 2014-2019.
In 2023 he switched allegiance to Ivory Coast after receiving a senior call up, and has gone on to make 27 appearances.Â
United, Spurs, keen on Ndicka

Manchester United are in the market for defensive cover amid uncertainty surrounding Harry Maguire’s future at the club. Maguire is out of contract in the summer and so far no progress had been made on an extension.
The long term future of Matthis de Light and Leny Yoro remain uncertain as well and United could look to add more depth to their ranks. The Red Devils have enjoyed a resurgence under interim manager Michael Carrick and now sit firmly in the Champions League places.
A return to the Champions League would boost not only their summer transfer budget but also their allure when recruiting top talent. Tottenham may find it difficult to match any United make for Ndicka, considering that the club are currently battling relegation.
Spurs have suffered four straight defeats in all competitions under interim manager Igor Tudor and now sit just one point from safety in the Premier League table.
