The Daily Mirror have Manchester United fans looking over to the bar with a fair bit of interest today in the Football Transfer Tavern as they seem to think that Juan Mata could well be on his way out of the club.
The attacking star has fallen down the pecking order under Louis van Gaal and it seems to be a case of deja vu all over again for the Spaniard after seeing exactly the same thing happen under Jose Mourinho.
We think that Mata needs to stick it out in the Premier League a little bit longer – and returning to La Liga and Valencia would be admitting defeat.
Valencia are now in the money and have an owner willing to splash the cash – with a £20 million bid thought to be on the horizon.
