According to the Mirror, Manchester United are keen to sign Birmingham City youngster Jude Bellingham in the summer but the youngster has received a better offer on the table from Borussia Dortmund.
Bellingham has attracted plenty of attention from top European clubs after a stellar debut season in the Championship. The 16-year-old has made 32 appearances for the Blues in the English second tier, scoring 4 goals with an average of 1.2 shots per game, creating 2 assists with a pass success rate of 74.8%, and making 2.3 tackles on average (WhoScored).
The outlet claims United and Dortmund are currently in a two-horse race for the teenage starlet, with Bayern Munich and Chelsea at the back of the pack. However, BVB have reportedly offered the Midlands side more for Bellingham than their English rivals.
Naturally many Red Devils are fuming as it looks like Dortmund have once again usurped another United transfer bid. Several fans noted the obvious similarity with the board’s failed attempt to sign Erling Braut Haaland at the end of last year. One supporter pleaded with the club to “stop being dumb.”

There is a silver lining for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side though, as the report adds the German club are resigned to losing Jadon Sancho before the start of next season, and Bellingham’s possible move to the Bundesliga would pave the way for the England international to move in the opposite direction.
