Manchester United fans in the Football Transfer Tavern cannot believe the news in talkSPORT, which has revealed that their club are finally on the verge of ending their interest in Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal.
This could be the final stages of a long and stretched out transfer saga, which has seen the Red Devils approach the Chilean star on several occasions over the past few years, in which they have failed each time.
Their interest hasn’t died due to a lack of form from Vidal as he scored 11 goals last season, helping Juventus on to win Serie A.
Nor is it due to his age, as he is only 27, in the peak of his career, with plenty years ahead of him.
Punters feel that one of the aspects as to why they have lost interest is his fight with injury, which has limited him throughout his career.
In previous seasons a quoted fee of £30m has floated around the rumour mill but it has never materialised.
